REVIEW: Darkployers - Morning Sickness EP out on Darkpload records

1-Yearning
2-Morning Sickness

Not taking any rest, Darkployers are moving forward and deliver new two-track EP which shows that their music can be very diverse. The title track of this EP, Morning Sickness, is all the way filthy and dark dancefloor destroyer, and a former follow up to their debut track 'Cruise' released in 2011 on Neuroscience Recordings. A big slowdown in the breakdown in addition with that dirty pitchbend buliding up the madness surely make this track a festival-ready bomb, awaiting to be detonated in the peak time of the set.

B-side track, Yearning, is completely different and signs the wind of change in Darkployers' style, introducing the lower bpm, melancholy and depth. Very moody atmosphere and the feel of musical space combined with the oldschool shadowed synths are the things that you can go wrong with when sitting in the room during the long winter nights or at the afterparty.

Dimitri Kechagias review:  Darkployers are back on their own imprint Darkpload for a stunning EP that deserves your attention and care too. First of all is Yearning. The very beautiful deep dark progressive trancer that has great flow, electronic blippy melodies and that taste of the old school trance that was all about the music and the melodies and less for immediate satisfaction with big euphoric synths. Heads down, closed eyes and the journey begins. Morning Sickness on the other hand is more frightening, claustrophobic, dangerous and absolutely cinematic. It can bring darkness, fear, uncertainty and unpleasant feelings but don't worry cause the track will blow your socks off and is extremely danceable perfect for big room tech trance sets. Love iT!
