Dimitri Kechagias review: When there is so much loud and rough big room music around as it seems some artists decide to go back to the basics and keep the real spirit of house going. Outplay is a new label that caters for those who like it deep, techy, atmospheric and with a hint of retro nostalgia as well. When computers can do "miracles" and overload a music track with sound effects and filters Daniel Leseman goes back to the roots and delivers a very cool ep that sounds ready made for cold winter nights and early summer mornings in Ibiza. Ease the Pain is an atmospheric cool song with just the basic parts like beats and cool funky playful basslines and the great song that reminds us soulful tracks of the garage house era. Claps and lively atmosphere will make this an instant favourite to those who like to focus to the musicality of the tracks. Let me Tell Ya moves on the same terrain of the old school retro deep house sound with soulful vocal samples. On this track the focus is the music, the funky melodies and the coolness of the sound.
