REVIEW: Christian Burns with Maison & Dragen - Perfectly incl MaRLo Remix on Armada Music

1.Perfectly (Original Mix)
2.Perfectly (Radio Edit)
3.Perfectly (MaRLo Remix)
4.Perfectly (MaRLo Radio Edit)

Building towards the highly anticipated release of his debut EDM album 'Simple Modern Answers', it has become clear that Christian Burns likes to keep things diverse.

Following his collaboration with Stefan Dabruck on ‘Bullet’, he had a ménage a trois with Paul Oakenfold and JES on ‘As We Collide’ and now as he puts the finishing touches to his album he brings us an amazing partnership with Finnish duo Marcus Maison & Will Dragen who like Christian have also worked with some of the industry’s biggest names over the past two years.

'Perfectly' is certainly not for the faint hearted, it kicks in hard, it's loud and it’s very very contagious!

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the best piece of news in the EDM scene is of course the forthcoming solo album of Christian Burns. We got already satisfying bytes from it in the form of Bullet, As We Collide and now its the time for the magnificent Perfectly. The talented singer with the tasty indie rock sounding voice gives his best performance and teams up with the fantastic talents from Finland Marcus Maison & Will Dragen who have the ability to touch with their magic wand any track and turn in into a club burner. Its full on epic progressive house with rough basslines, bouncy booming beats and even acid overtones. Distorted Rock guitar riffs are adding that dirty naughty touch to it making this a club anthem but pop dance radio stations favourite selection as well. The beloved Dutch star MaRLo comes all the way from Australia where he resides and service what we are accustomed to get from him. His remix is tech trance/ big room trance at its very best. His basslines are deep but so bouncy and banging that heat you right in your stomach. He uses a short breakdown to introduce the cool vocal along with synthy uplifting stabs and then he moves for an unforgettable ride that the distorted rock guitar hook is present as well a bit twisted to give the track its funky groovy rthythm. Its pretty versatile remix so I can imagine prog house guys  dropping it as well. Love IT!
