Ido built his reputation in the electronic dance music industry as the mastermind behind the project known as Save The Robot. With well received singles like “Red City”, “Compassion”, “Big Ben” and countless remixes for other artists in the discography, Save The Robot became a name that tickled the curiosity of many of the big names in the industry, wondering who created these tracks. To finally attach his own name to his new output, Ido has taken up the baton as a 100% solo producer altogether and now enters the scene with a banging two track EP.
For both “Soul Surf” and “Voice Of Reason”, Ido opened up his progressive house box of Pandora and delivers two killer floor fillers with a few nice references to his previous Save The Robot material, but with a crisp, driven and danceable undertone that puts his name on the map all over again. The latest EP comes from Ido who is well known under the alias Save The Robot. If you were searching for full on peak time club crackers that keep great balance between the underground and mainstream elements dont look any further. Voice Of Reason is an energetic big room epic prog house smasher that relentlessly builds its various soundlayers in a such involving way that keep your attention and feet on the clubfloor. Strong melodic theme without going over the top and great atmosphere that will remind you of hot Ibiza nights for sure. Soul Surf on the other side is an even rockier monster size anthem with really solid and tight beats that hit you in your stomach and release all the tension in the breakdown with a very strong synthy lead on that Swedish House Mafia retro psychedelic rock style. Of course the beats are uncontrollable and demand to come back strong for the massive climax. Techy, groovy, melodic and tasty we deal with really versatile tracks with the EDM tag on them. Love IT!
