Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Digital strikes back with another top release that I guess will follow the big success of the current Monster release by Photographer that reached Top 10 at the beatport trance chart. The quality producer Chris Metcalfe presents is powerbanger Power Trip. Sometimes promising titles like this one fail to deliver in their content but its not the case with this mega Monster size tune. Power Trip is straight forward with all the codes and conventions that we are accustomed to love in a big uplifting trance release. Full on without excessive techniques just pure pumping beats, driving basslines and dreamy melodies are enough to do the trick for your mind. Bryan Kearney is on board as well and just his name is a guarantee for a real mayhem. As it seems he was in great feel good mood in his studio the day he produce it and offers an excellent take with hi-nrg uplifting synths that lead on the cinematic breakdown with cool sci-fi vocal samples and very huge synths that will recall trance classics of the past. When the beat kicks back the track goes for a thunderous rave style climax that will unite the global army of trancers. So epic and hard at the same time that will bring back memories of hardcore style too. Top Stuff! Uplifting Trance is Back! Love it!
