Slowly, but steady, the musical pieces of the ‘Supermarkt’ album of 16 Bit Lolitas are starting to unfold. Following their own interpretation, Brazilian producer Wehbba and UK producer Kreature each bring a remix of ‘Na Na Nahana’ and ‘Fat Fly’ respectively.  And you bet, they know how to serve them!

 

Sao Paulo based producer Wehbba has definitely earned his stripes in dance land. Through a distinct sound that strikes both techno and house, as well as exceptional production skills, he’s grown into one of the leading names in to hail from Brazil. No wonder the guys from 16 Bit Lolitas invited him to remix one of the highlights of their latest album, ‘Na Na Nahana’. Wehbba delivers an absolutely funky tech-house remix, making it impossible not to be moved by its intricate maze of beats. Absolute quality, all-fit for the peak-time hours.

 

UK& rsquo;s Kreature might be a talent on the rise, but he sure knows how to prove himself. The Leeds-bound producer takes a deep dive in-depth of ‘Fat Fly’ and brings a lush down-tempo remix. Warm flowing, rich in detail and riding a phat bass, the Kreature remix could very well be the perfect warm-up tune to your night. 

 

 

Dimitri Kechagias review: The progressive house imprint Bits & Pieces returns with two very well produced remix on label heads tracks. The two very cool tracks by 16 Bit Lolitas are transformed into two very different but very stylish deep progressive beauties. First of all  their  stand out track from the album Supermarkt,  Na Na Nahana is remixed by Wehbba who delivers a stunning tech house beauty. Its full of tasty grooves and underground funk and attitude too. Its one of those tracks that when is played in a club you feel obliged to start moving along cause you don't want to miss the opportunity to enjoy it to its fullest. Kreature remix on Fat Fly is a deep house meets downtempo version that is laid back and relaxing enough to take you on board for a nice melodic journey that music is what it really matters without added extras. Electro grooves, techy chunky beats, strings and ethnic voices on top create a superb soundscape to escape in it. You check it out and you can feel the underground moisture and darkness of its textures. Quality always wins and it does not need any hyping about it. Like IT!
