~ Live radio broadcast will feature Mat Zo, Andrew Bayer, Norin & Rad and Jody Wisternoff ~
Above & Beyond along with Submerge have just announced the DJs that will be joining them for this year's TATW450 in Bangalore on 10 November - Mat Zo, Norin & Rad, Andrew Bayer and Jody Wisternoff.
Mat Zo arrives off the back of his most exciting year yet, having played alongside Above & Beyond at Group Therapy events in London and Miami, as well as the recent Nocturnal Wonderland stage. First came his genre-busting "Bipolar EP", then the BBC Radio 1-supported anthem "The Sky" (feat. Linnea Schossow), with his debut album and a ground-breaking collab with Porter Robinson both planned for early 2013. Get a free Mat Zo track HERE.
Having enjoyed a flurry of well received gigs this year, the eclectic and innovative Andrew Bayer will bring his genre-blurring progressive and electronica sound to the event.
Named the breakthrough producers of 2011 by Above & Beyond, Norin & Rad have since cemented their position as scene stars in 2012 - releasing a string of double a-side singles and even remixing the soundtrack for Halo 4. Their cutting-edge progressive and trance productions are a constant presence in Above & Beyond's sets, making them a perfect fit for this landmark event.
Completing the line-up, the legendary Jody Wisternoff - one half of Way Out West and recently announced as the mixer of Anjunadeep 05 - will warm things up with his carefully sourced progressive deepness.
Above & Beyond's two-hour headlining set represents the first full Group Therapy production in India, following their memorable set at Sunburn Festival last December. Over the past 18 months, Above & Beyond have toured their Group Therapy themed show across the globe - an epic, no expense spared production with immersive visuals, live messaging from the band and support from Anjunabeats' finest acts.
Having named their legendary Anjunabeats label after a beach in Goa, Above & Beyond'sconnection with India is deep and long-standing. With the country's club scene growing rapidly and a huge thirst for electronic music in the region, India was the perfect destination for this prestigious show.
"India, its people and music have always had a special place in our hearts," said A&B's Paavo Siljamaki. "Not only does the dance music culture span thousands of years there, we've witnessed incredible growth of the electronic music there since we first started Anjunabeats. TATW450 will be broadcast from the country that was the starting point for everything we do. Let your friends know, join us online and together in India we'll all make this our biggest global celebration to date."
Nikhil Chinapafrom Indian promoters Submerge said: "Ten years ago when we started a dance music collective called Submerge, we never expected to get this far this soon. The support that Above & Beyond have extended to the scene in India has been critical in bringing about this change. TATW has thousands of fans across India and it has been a key factor in educating and entertaining fans of dance music across the country."
The venue and set times will soon be released, along with details of all the ways you can get involved in this event.
