Rashid Ajami was born in 1990 in London, where he first discovered the vibrant rave and dance music scene. It grabbed his imagination and he became driven, first by an admiration for and then by the desire to create emotive electronic music. His interests range across the wide spectrum of the scene and he has experimented with many different sounds over the short time that he has devoted himself to producing tracks.
His first official release was a progressive house track on Sambuca, entitled ‘Lets Be Free’, which received remixes from Jerome Isma-Ae and tech duo David Amo & Julio Navas. The track achieved a number 1 on Juno Download and Top 10 on Beatport’s Progressive chart, and has received support from big DJs such as Paul Oakenfold.
Recently, his interests have focused upon deep house, to which he intends to bring his soulful vision. To that end, he is releasing ‘Rule The World’ with remixes from Maya Jane Coles and Ramon Tapia on Yellowtail Records. And he intends to follow it up soon by continuing his journey down the deep house path….

Dimitri Kechagias review: YellowTail, the sister label of Blu Fin records presents a massive deep house track that seems to be able to cross over and talk to a wider audience that likes good EDM music but a bit of pop as well. Rashid Ajami is about to Rule The World with his first EP that will win your attention for sure. The original mix starts with a moving piano melody upon the deep tech house grooves and on top he adds that very cool jazzy male vocal that sings about someone's ambition to become famous and rule the world. The remix package is the finest you can get with the lovely Andrea choosing the best versions to take the track on the hottest club spots and hippest dancefloors. Haroun Hikman remix is an upbeat tech house groover with a
very addictive guitar melody running through the track along with the warm atmospheres creating a balearic relaxed atmosphere perfect to drop early in the morning when the sun is rising and the clubbers are ready to rule the world and spread their message for eternal love. The fantastic producer Ramon Tapia once again deliver the goods and he does what he knows best with his deep progressive house version that has a lovely electronic melody upon the bubbly beats and cool jazzy basslines. Hands will clapping in the air and the bodies will swing and moving along with it for sure! After the short breakdown for the vocals to make a short appearance he reveals a huge industrial dark synthy melody that adds energy and big club potential to it. Last but not least Maya Jane Coles moves on the deep tech house path with brand new melodramatic themes that build relentlessly to give movement and add a cinematic atmosphere to it. I can easily imagine this playing at the background in the scene of a cool movie that the young and ambitious man is ready to rule the world. Must have jewel for your digital "coollection". Love iT!
