Tipping a hat to the classic trance formulae, 'Evolve' is a very likeable and warm, melodic affair littered with shimmering trance plucks, crisp percussion, with the backbone driven by a pulsating bassline, full of energy.
Played exclusively by Aly & Fila at Godskitchen Global Gathering 2012 as their set opener to a rapturous reception, it is clear that this is certainly the newest sound for uplifting trance!
Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest trance labels in UK returns with another Monster size Tune that is already causing waves in the scene and many out there craving for a copy of it. The upcoming and very promising producer James Poulton composed the magnificent piece of uplifting trance Evolve that is solid, driving, energetic and very melodic too. He uses progressive trance style drum beats that are heavily influenced from the Dutch trance sound and of course mesmerising colourful melodic layers on top that really add a magical touch to it. The breakdown is soothing and relaxing with ambient balearic style strings and a very emotional melodic riff that resembles the sound of balearic guitar melody. It has a touch in it of the Solarstone unforgettable classic Seven Cities. Its certainly one of those tracks that can stand alone without additional remixes as it is very strong and particularly its main part is so epic and uplifting that will raise hands, roofs and the hair from your back.
