Dimitri Kechagias review: Alter Ego Progressive delivers another sure prime time weapon for your dj sets. The brilliant Anhken collaborates with Les for the outstanding progressive trance anthem Not Far Enough. The original is a well conceived and well executed progressive trancer with techy drum beats, deep haunting basslines and various complex melodic layers intertwined in order to create a blissful hypnotic atmosphere. The breakdown will leave you speechless for hours as a superb orient style melody is introduced that sounds really from outer space and very soon leads the track to its feel good and hands in the air climax that is uplifting, euphoric but deeply melancholic as well. Remix comes from Hanski who slowly wins more fans and great interest as his productions have that freshness, uniqueness and musicality that make them stand out for sure. His translation of the original is big room euphoric proglifting trancer with electro and techy infusions in place as well. His breakdown includes a romantic piano theme that stays close to the original melody but slightly changed in order to lead the track to its big climax that is colourful, cheerful and club rocking.
