Jawoo a.k.a. Marinko Vujevi was born 25 June, 1989 in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina. His first experience with a wide audience was when he was about 14 years old. By that time he started working as a DJ in one of the clubs in his hometown. As a beginner he played a wide sound palette of genres from techno, tech house, progressive house and even R'n'B and hip-hop. Later he switched to electronic dance music. Nowadays playing mostly electro, techno and tech house he still tries to focus on the deeper and more melodious sounds. Now showing off his skills in a brand new EP, Jawoo shows the competition that an enticing blend of techno and tech house still gets the party rocking.
This EP featured three high quality deephouse tracks for the late summer nights or the early after parties.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Wildlife is the cool house label of Black Hole recordings that caters for all the colours of house music. The latest EP by Jawoo entitled Life of The Jungle EP is definitely one that requires your careful attention cause you are going to discover an amazing sonic world created with so much talent from Jawoo. Three top tracks ready to hypnotise your audience and welcome them and warm them up on the dancefloor. Face of The Jungle is a fantastic deep tech house wild animal that has amazing rhythm with cool organ style melody, acid basslines and whats more warm guitar style melodic layers are added to create an amazing relaxing atmosphere that will pull you into its magical soundscape without even notice it. Life Dimension is a deep progressive house track with techy influences and colourful melodic layers on top that makes it suitable even for deep progressive trance sets as well. It gives you the illusion that Jawoo is experimenting and exploring the sounds but with clear vision of where he wants to head to at the end of this very creative journey. Strange People is the final track that stays on the same deep tech house atmospheric sound but with a cool twist in the main part as suddenly melodies and basslines are going a little strange and out of tune creating a strange feeling to the listener.
