REVIEW: Tate & Credland feat. DPC - Rise Above The Anarchy on Mondo records

1-Original mix
2-Funky Drop mix
3-Vigel remix

Darren Tate teams up Jim Credland (CERN, Cheap Emotions, Slip Friction) for their first outing on Mondo. This genre defying masterpiece is an eclectic fusion of cool house, chunky progressive and stylish electro elements. Already a firm favourite with the likes of Judge Jules, gaining its maiden airing on BBC Radio 1 'Rise Above The Anarchy' is one of the must have tunes this summer!

Included in the package is the Funky Drop Mix, here Tate & Credland flip the original on its head in an amazing twist to ensure dance floor mayhem. On the flip we have a brilliant punchy progressive offering from the ever impressive Vigel!

Dimitri Kechagias review:   Mondo records head honcho Darren Tate returns with Credland featuring the massive male vocals by DPC. The track is the deeply thoughtful Rise Above The Anarchy. It comes in three great versions perfect for your balearic summery progressive house sets. The original mix is a superb warm progressive house anthem with electrified basslines, chicanish summer style melodies and the excellent and very different vocal by DPC that doesn't state the obvious but rather challenge the listeners perception.  Funky Drop remix is moving on the same direction of the original with main difference rather than going full on and hands in the air to drop in a more funky chunky groovy kind of section that sounds perfect choice for strictly house sets. Lastly Vigel has the mission to transform the track into something more upfront, tougher, faster and underground too. His version is a hybrid of epic prog house and prog trance and  uses excellent deep basslines and prog trance drum beats to add movement and playful little melodies to add extra energy perfect to play it with your favourite epic prog house anthems or at the first hour of your progressive trance set. When you notice the name of the  legend Darren Tate you know the score and you are safe that you will get a fantastic release. Vote for Darren Tate at the dj mag Top 100 djs list. Love iT!
