3.River Of Hearts (Ben Gold Remix)
4.It Is What It Is (Original Mix)

2012 may not even be halfway through, but it has already been a monumental year for Romanian Coldharbour resident Mr. Pit. With a big dancefloor mover already registered in the form of Mosni, he returns with two huge anthems, showcasing perfectly his range of production style - Los Angeles ‘12’s River of Hearts, and It is What it Is.

One of the scene’s nice guys, Adrian Ivan won the admiration of every Coldharbour follower, thanks to iconic contributions such as Shana and Sky Traffic. His tour schedule in 2012 has increased, notably with two appraised performances in Los Angeles, and both tracks on offer here have been anticipated by Global DJ Broadcast listeners for quite some time.

Searching for a strong finish to his Los Angeles ’12 compilation, Markus Schulz put his trust in Mr. Pit’s ability to deliver. And deliver he did. River of Hearts is a beautiful slice of melodic goodness, with many fans citing it as Adrian’s best work to date. Alongside the DJ-friendly original, the special Outro Mix featured on the compilation is included, and provides a perfect way to close a set. The talented Englishman Ben Gold gives the track a tougher and dancefloor-primed edge, oozing the typical high-paced energy we have become accustomed to.

Not to be outdone on the dancefloor stakes however, another stadium anthem is in the making with It is What it Is. Debuted to the world during Markus’ set at A State of Trance’s 550 celebrations in Den Bosch, the track has surged in popularity, picking up a recent Global Selection berth on Global DJ Broadcast, and becoming part of the furniture on the World Tour episodes.

Coldharbour is moving into its typical summer stride. And with Mr. Pit’s offering, this stride is strong.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Coldharbour recordings presents one of the hottest releases for this summer. The brilliant and friendly Mr.Pit releases his latest EP including two great tracks and jawdropping mix by Ben Gold. River of Hearts in its original form is a deep progressive trancer that stays faithful on the established Coldharbour sound with deep basslines, great percussion, superb atmosphere and magical sweet melancholic electro melody in the breakdown. Main part is peak time and rocking as you wanted to be with that unfogetable theme running through it. This is what trance should be about really. The Outro mix is already loved by Markus Schulz who has included in his latest successful compilation.  Pretty similar but with that feel of closing a set in the most memorable way and letting the listeners waiting with anticipation the next one. The outro beatless part has  Strings, violins and warm melodies to  put the end titles. Who can deny that Ben Gold will service the more energetic sets perfectly? The talented British talent smashes the loudspeakers with driving energetic beats, hi nrg basslines and great application of the main theme in the breakdown with large hair raising synths and violins to create an epic uplifting euphoric feel. Peak time cracker and beatport trance chart Top 10 for sure. Lastly Mr Pit kicks back with his It Is What It Is track. He presents an upbeat euphoric club banger with the word ultra large anthem written all over. Fast and furius like driving the fastest spaceship moving and grooving around galaxies before landing on Mars for our unforgetable space party! Solid tight composition with every sound layer being in its place to add its own colour. Cinematic mysterious atmosphere in the breakdown and huge synth drops to raise the hair from your back and tease us for the big pay off moment in the main part! Mr Pit rocks your summer dreams. Love iT!
