Jorg Zimmer releases his new single on the Avanti imprint, entitled “Against The World”.
Jorg Zimmer's personal statement, to be found in his biography, says “I play music and make music!” It's modest, but for his followers it's clear that his name is well established in the industry by now. Known to his friends and family as Padraig Lavery, Jorg lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. As a DJ and producer he does his thing within the realm of progressive, trance and house. Many will still remember his EP featuring the tracks “Acamar” and "Sicily"; he later on released the floor filler single entitled “Time”. With this new cut, "Against The World", Jorg Zimmer ups the ante for his own sound and drops a killer club/house banger.
"Against The World" has a clear Daft Punk feel to it and drives the atmosphere up to a hot and steamy dance session. Think of house with a pinch of electro, slightly robotized vocals and some subtle tech elements; all the right ingredients for a top track in any live DJ set.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Jorg Zimmer is one of those producers who simply doesn't like to get stuck on the same sounds. If you check his soundcloud page you can easily understand that this producer loves to experiment and open our minds and ears with new sounds and ideas. Against the world is a small but satisfying byte of progressive house with obvious Daft Punk neo-French disco house in it. Its one of those tunes that you will drop it and the dancefloor will feel the warmth and excitement of it. Its simply irresistible and you know that this killer groove will never allow you to rest if you don't start dancing and having endless fun with it. It signals summer in my mind and beach parties at night, Happy month and happy summer everybody even Against the World. Feel good and exciting, Love iT!
