1.Come Back (Original Mix)
2.Find You (Original Mix)
Though the kick-start to Johan Malmgren’s career had already been giving, the Swedish producer has now definitely stepped things up in the game. With his ‘Come Back’ E.P. on the Re*Brand label, he’s hit full throttle.
Known for originals ‘Primitus’, ‘The Right Chords’ and ‘Be Yourself’, as well as remixes for the likes of The Thrillseekers, Audien, Eco and Susana & Max Graham, it didn’t take long for Johan Malmgren to confirm his membership of the new breed EDM producers.
With this debut on Re*Brand, including the melodic and trippy ‘Come Back’ and feel-good ‘Find You’, he has certainly shown the world what he’s up to.
Dimitri Kechagias review: He is upcoming and he manage to attract great deal of attention in his name because of his great output. Remixes and original place Johan at the top of the list of the names that you should watch out for. His latest magnificent EP on Re*Brand that is headed by the fantastic Max Graham is definitely a must have item for any progressive trance lover. On Come Back, Johan composes a powerful progressive trancer with techy elements. Driving and full on as any trance track should be but with the groove and the rhythm of house. He even adds upon his beat an effect that sounds like something going wrong with the beats. Dont worry cause is just an interesting effect that is used to keep the listeners attention. The breakdown is really dreamy and sweaty with warm and slowly uplifting synthy melody that take us on board on the big climax that Johan knows so well to offer openhearted to the clubbers worldwide. Find You is the second track on this EP that is on the same progressive direction but on this one he rather takes the straight on road without any experimentation. Great progressive trance beats, ethereal melody on top, chopped vocals and dreamy piano melody on the long, teasing and feel good breakdown. His climax on this one is even bigger and I'm sure that will satisfy any prog trance or Big Room lover! Two great tracks to keep you lovin progressive cause the way is only forward, backward never! Love IT!
