REVIEW: Fine Touch feat Anna Montgomery - Bordertown out on Caballero recordings

1-Dan Castro remix
2-Cosmic Funk remix
3-Original mix

After their great remix for Inaya Day vs. Sem Thomasson & Siege, there was no doubt to continue the cooperation with uprising Russian duo Fine Touch. So, we proudly present their debut single “Bordertown” on Caballero. Teaming up with Anna Montgomery they delivered a fantastic house cut, with an incredible piano break decorated with the beautiful voice of Anna.

But it wouldn't be a serious Caballero release without a bunch of great remixes!

First of all we have Dan Castro (CR2, Stereo Productions) coming up with an amazing bigroom remix. Progressive elements meet an irresistable electro bassline! Pure dancefloor madness guaranteed. Second remix was done by german duo Cosmic Funk! They strip it down to a more techy groove, but keeping this huge hands-up feeling in the breaks.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The absolute house record label from Stuttgart Germany strikes back with another sure floorfiller by Fine Touch feat Anna Montgomery entitled Bordertown  that is about to blow big time and win the hearts and souls of any faithful good house music lover. The original mix is an 8 minutes deep progressive house meets tech house anthem that is playful, involving, attractive and certainly with dynamic female vocals delivered so wonderfully from Anna who seems to be ready to become the next big house diva. The quite dark original is transformed into peak time monster size anthem by the hands of Dan Castro and Cosmic Funk. Dan Castro well known and established in the scene service the pumping, driving, bouncy, banging and rocking version that has all the elements of the Swedish prog house sound but with that special Dan Castro touch. Great breakdown with lovely relaxing piano and soon the huge synths come up to lead us on the massive hands in the air climax. Hard and rough is an energetic ride for sure. Last but not least Cosmic Funk add the melodic prog house touch with balearic Ibiza style melodic layers, airy fairy breakdowns and slamming spanking dirty dutch influenced main parts to rock and dance the nights away. Ibiza is calling! Love iT!
