The talented Dutch producer Felix Pot returns to Fraction with his very unique blend of progressive and tech trance Into The Cold Sea. The original mix is a powerful hybrid of tech trance with progressive as it applies tough techy infused beats and on top adds some very strong emotional melodic layers that in a way create that sense of being into the sea but the water is pretty cold and this is signified from the rough sharpness of the rocking basslines. The breakdown through its calming melodies and the female ethnic vocals is giving you the illusion of diving into the deepest waters and observing its beauty. The calmness doesn't last for long as huge synthy stabs will raise the hands in the air and drive the track to its euphoric climax. Creative, playful with character is certainly a great attempt to override the conventions. Chris Corrigan is on remix duties and he reshapes the original into a bubbly progressive trancer that is blissful and melodic with great breakdown that recreates the main melody in a hair raising ravey style riff that leads the track in its main rocking part!
