REVIEW: Deex - Unfinished Business incl. Wetdog mix out on Black Hole

01. Original Mix
02. Wetdog Remix

Deex makes his debut on the Black Hole imprint with the single "Unfinished Business".

Deex (born and raised in Arnhem, The Netherlands) is no stranger when it comes to music. Heavily influenced by his parents who owned cassette tapes, vinyl records and eventually the CD, he started to experiment with music. And it is the walk down that path that put him on the right track to become a DJ and producer. Finally after his decision to study and live in Breda, the city famous for being the hometown of many successful DJs and producers, he felt the vibe behind those success stories.

Deex’ music is best described as a mix of house, tech house, progressive and electro and has already been supported by big names such as Roger Sanchez, Erick Morillo, David Vendetta, Antoine Clamaran, Bingo Players and many others. "Unfinished Business" is the perfect example of this and moves well between tech house and electro; the Wetdog remix gives a rougher rendition of the original with slightly harder techno aspects.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Black Hole recordings is always at the forefront of electronic dance music by breaking boundaries and convention and supporting brand new talents. Its the right time for Deex to service to the global community the club weapon Unfinished Business. The original mix is perfect hybrid of progressive and electro house blended together perfectly in order to deliver an anthem for the big rooms. Rough beats, raw basslines and cool melodic breakdown before the raunchy beat kicks back for the hands in the air main part. Wetdog is at the business as well and he finish off the Unfinished Business really professionally with his interpretation that is a big room slammer with tough beats, epic prog house and electro infused sounds and strong melodic theme to raise those hands in the air. Two great version for a big room anthem in the making. Like iT!
