The news that York are about to release a brand new album can only make any trance fan extremely happy and not only as their music can be easily heard from people who like loungy ambient music as well. Their latest creation is the awesome Touched by God. 8 minutes of pure melodic pleasure with deep but steadily driving basslines and absolutely gorgeous hypnotic melodies on top. Of course the trademark balearic guitar riff is present on this track adding a very special and unique atmosphere that make the hair from your back stand still. The remix package includes some gorgeous remixes. The excellent German talent Steve Brian recreates the original into a balearic tribal trancer that is smoother than his usual electro influenced sound with an exceptional breakdown with melodic guitar riffs and playful melodies. When that tribal trance beat returns the whole track is elevated to a higher level with all the sound layers working together in perfect harmony giving you a taste of a hot and sunny summer. Percussion to die for and tight production will left you at the end wanting more of it. Last but not least Xgenic pushes the original deep track into the peak time section of your set with a big room progressive trance version with sharp smashing basslines and the brilliant vocals by Tamah Boston singing about God's greatest gift to the humans that is of course the music.
