REVIEW: Slava Flash & Spartaque - Open Air Remixes out on Songbird/Black Hole

1. Slava Flash Edit
2. Serhio Vegas Remix

Slava Flash teams up with Spartaque for the new single “Open Air” on the Songbird imprint.

Slava Flash may well be called one of the best Ukrainian electronic artists. Aged only 19, he has confidently entered the DJ Top 10 of his country. Initially Slava Flash made name with with his DJ skills when he played his trademark sets full of delicate tracks at all the known, prominent parties and festivals in countries like Ukraine, Russia, France etc. Slava also works with Kiss FM and has a residency at both the Godskitchen and Global Gathering Ukraine festivals. Known for his productions and remixes, he is continuously balancing between studio work and DJ performances, this time presenting another hot new single entitled "Open Air". The track was made with Spartaque, also from Ukraine. The DJ/producer has been active in the industry since 2007 and so far harvested three nominations in the Ukrainian Dance Music Awards. He also works with Kiss FM and his remixes have been in heavy rotation on the radio.

With “Open Air” the producer duo presents a good old tech trancer that sports an exciting combination of classic trance sounds with a state of the art high energy arrangement. Serhio Vegas reworks the original into a harder and techier version of the original. Ready for the “Open Air” festivals of this summer.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Songbird is the great progressive sublabel of Black Hole recordings that continues the tradition of ISOS flavored tracks with the Ukranian production Open Air by the ultra talented and trustworthy artists Slava Flash & Spartaque. The release includes two great versions to choose from and both target the prime time of your dj set. The Slava Flash edit is a great groovy tech prog house with trancy elements track that applies a playful twisted soundbed and on top he uses some very cool little melodies. There is a shorter first breakdown that is quite melodramatic with strong synthy melodic theme to excite you and then the chunky beat returns on the same vibe. The main breakdown is larger than life with huge electro synthy riff to get you so moved that will be hard not to jump along with it. The climax goes all maddening and wild to keep the body fluids boiling for long. The stronger and tougher version is by Serhio Vegas who delivers a haunting prog tech titanic track that builds relentlessly with cool laser like effects on top and one long breakdown that unleashes the crowd rocking electroish riff. When the beat kicks back the track goes more bangier for a hands in the air section. Clubfloor material for sure. Love IT!
