For the first time, Grammy-nominated Morgan Page teams up with Canada’s Tegan & Sara, for a new, original tune – “Body Work.” “Body Work” is a stellar example of Page’s skills as a producer but also an artist. Having remixed numerous cuts for the indie stalwarts, the three wanted to write something together from scratch. The result is one of the most exciting tracks off the much-anticipated 2012 studio album.
Directed by Lisa Mann and filmed in Toronto, the official music video for “Body Work” pays homage to past “work out” tapes. Without giving too much away, the video is humorous, entertaining and unadulterated fun that leaves one smiling. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for more information.
“Body Work” is the follow-up to lead single, “In The Air,” featuring Sultan + Ned Shepard, BT and Angela McCluskey on vocals. The mega-collaboration led to a #1 hit on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay chart and #11 on BPM’s ‘Top 51 of 2011.’ Adding to a long history of Billboard Top 10 successes – “Longest Road,” “Call My Name,” “Fight For You” and “Strange Condition” – “In The Air” is Page’s first #1 single. The track remained in the Top 10 for an incredible 25 weeks! In North America, early radio placement for “Body Work” primes the track to exceed “In The Air;” with early adds at more stations across the US and already Top 20 at pop stations in Canada.
Last year, Page amped-up his live set to marry the visual and audio experience for his fans. In addition to the new production, Page will preview tracks from the upcoming album at this year’s Coachella Valley Art And Music Festival.
