REVIEW: Madonna vs. Avicii - Girl Gone Wild (AVICII's UMF Mix) out on Interscope/Universal

1- Girl Gone Wild (AVICII's UMF Mix)

Dimitri Kechagias review: The most surprising happening of Ultra Music Festival was of course the live appearance of Madonna with the Swedish House sensation dj and producer AVICII. Madonna  rocks the clubs and pop charts with her latest album MDNA that includes collaborations with the most famous producers in the planet including the most important  EDM producers as well. Her latest single Girl Gone Wild that includes a very sexy music video that was banned by many tv stations as inappropriate is produced by Benny Benassi and is simply a massive hit for daytime pop radio and clubs as well. Her decision to perform live at the UMF along with AVICII had as a result their collaboration that now is out and is about to rock the clubs and enter the playlists of the most prestigious djs.AVICII's UMF Mix is so powerful and energetic that will become straight away the clubbers favourite and djs will save it for the peak time moment of their dj sets. It includes all the established elements of AVICII style that is a minimal intro and first intro breakdown for the cool happy piano melody and the vocal of Madonna to appear. Soon the storm begins with the huge uplifting synths banging and rocking until the big breakdown lands with Madonna performing her cool lyrics about Girl Gone Wild from a girl was always bad one anyway. Huge pitched synths, memorable melody and ultra large climax for girls, boys and gays to go wild on the dancefloor. The queen of pop is back and we salute her. Love iT!

22-year-old Swedish megastar AVICII is, without question, the biggest DJ on the planet at this moment in time. Having recently headlined the world famous Ultra Mainstage with none other than Queen of Pop MADONNA, he truly has arrived at nothing less than GOD status in just two short years. Travelling the length and breadth of the globe brandishing his insanely popular and uniquely captivating take on harmonious, pounding, stadium-driven house music, there’s just a couple of very special places that’ve been kept waiting…until now that is…

On the 3rd and 4th June, Avicii will descend upon DUBLIN and LONDON respectively to headline two of the biggest, most prestigious venues going – THE O2, LONDON & THE O2, DUBLIN!

It doesn’t take a fool to work out that these two dates are certainly NOT to be missed. As this will be the first time many Brits or Irish will have had the chance to see the Swedish icon LIVE in action, and with a surprise production that is quite simply out of this world, AVICII @ The O2 will no doubt be the hottest ticket in town on the most important weekend of the year – Queen’s forthcoming Diamond Jubilee weekend. Get your tickets now, before it’s too late!

3rd June 2012 – Avicii @ The O2, Dublin
4rd June 2012 – Avicii @ The O2, London

Tearing up parties at the biggest festivals and most prestigious super clubs across the globe has become Avicii’s modus operandi. Recent highlights include a breath-taking show at the ‘one night only’ re-opening of New York’s legendary Studio 54, spellbinding headline stints at colossal events such as Tomorrowland, Electric Daisy Carnival, Dance Valley, Street Parade, and IDentity Festival, the biggest New Year’s Eve party NYC has ever seen (officially) at Manhattan’s Pier 94, and of course his show-stopping collaboration with Madonna on the 2012 Ultra Music Festival mainstage. As MTV news wrote, following his mesmerizing stage time with the pop legend;

Swedish house music producer Avicii is currently one of the most popular artists working in music — yes, in music, not just his native EDM. And that star standing was only reinforced on Saturday night when he headlined a gig on day two of this year's Ultra Music Festival
