Mark our words, 2012 is going to be a big year for Michael S. After the light-hearted ‘Say What You Will’ collab with Blake Jarrell, Michael lands a new feel-good tune; ‘Broke’!
Being one of the fastest rising singer/songwriters of the moment, and having his ‘Mark Me Down’ and ‘Say What You Will’ echo across halls, arena’s and clubs all across the world, makes the follow-up a welcome addition.

On ZOUK, he lands ‘Broke’. Balancing melodic prog-house and pop, ‘Broke’ makes a perfect tune for the eclectic-minded. Its catchy hook and warm melody will get under your skin soon enough.
Young Australian talent Walden gave ‘Broke’ a really nice prog-house touch-up, getting it all geared up for club madness!

Dimitri Kechagias review: What an amazing idea to carry on with Michael S. releases on ZOUK cause simply this great singer has all the potential to dominate the EDM scene and crossover to the pop mainstream as well. So sweet and expressive voice that sings so strong lyrics that you will find yourself searching on the web to find the lyrics and learn them by heart. The original is cool poppy prog house style track that particularly radio stations will adore. Fluffy and cheerful despite being a quite dark and melancholic track. Walden from his side has the mission to deliver the big room progressive house version and he manage it really well. Minimal chunky start that lead on a cool small breakdown for Michael to shine for a while and then the big synthy AVICII style melody comes in to excite the audience before to bring the beat back with electro house/nu rave style part. The great vocal comes back again to lead us on the second and larger breakdown that is pretty anthemic and hands in the air. The melody is unique and feel good so you can expect a satisfied crowd. There is always light at the end of the tunnel even if you are Broke. Love IT!
