1.Hyperfocus (Original Mix)
2.Hyperfocus (Wezz Devall Remix)
It takes patience, craft and talent to produce a musical piece that gets under your skin. Mark Otten does it time and again though, continuing his journey with the deep, trancy ‘Hyperfocus’.
Rocking on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State of Trance 2012’ compilation and keeping the pace for Markus Schulz’ ‘Los Angeles ‘12’. Making progressive and trance melt together in a love affair of beats. Rising from a deep, dreamy tune to a mind-shivering experience that makes you get lost without moving anywhere else but the dancefloor.

That’s what ‘Hyperfocus’ is all about.
After the experimental ‘Libertine’, classics ‘So Serene’, ‘Tranquility’ and ‘Mushroom Therapy’, Mark Otten does it again. ‘Hyperfocus’ unlocks a promise, telling us that there’s many more good things to come from this gifted Dutchman.
Giving ‘Hyperfocus’ a quality big-room treatment, while expanding the melody with some heavy tech-trance stabs, is Wezz Devall’s peak-time friendly remix. A real treat for those into the loud and rough, but sophisticated trance sound!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Mark Otten is a real talent and I'm big admirer of him. You can sense from the first notes of his compositions that he understands the dynamics of the trance genre and he established from the very start his own very unique and special sound that is floating, travelling and with a sense of mystery and esoteric power that you can discover after some repeated listening. Hyperfocus deserves to get a release under Armin's own label as it is on the high standards that we usually get on Armind. You can call it Balearic trance or deep progressive trance but certainly is a sophisticated advanced trance formula that Mark Otten only knows. Its the case of a track that you drop it and will be hard not to get immediately immersed within the bubbly beats and the cinematic atmosphere of it. Wezz Deval is the right choice to add a clubbier prime time make over to the original and he certainly manage to impress us all. Tech trance but with melodic edge, chorus like vocals that add extra sparkle and magic and as you can expect super XL synths in the breakdown to raise the hair from your back and allow the clubbers shout loud and express their appreciation to the dj. Two smashing versions on another trance classic release! Love IT!
