Dimitri Kechagias review: Marc Simz with his brilliant track Forbidden City scored one of the biggest trance anthems for 2010 when was first released with great success. In 2012 In Trance We Trust proudly presents a very large and extensive package of this trance classic that had an impact on the sound that other artists produced as well. First of all  is Marc Simz & Aerofoil Re-Rub that updates for the current big room sound the unforgettable classic. In more progressive mode with new melodic layers and more playful touch the track sounds refreshed and remodelled for 2012. Jochem Hamerling Tech Dub is the techno version that those who love the dark techno bass will adore. Tribal techno grooves and the top riff from the original will do real damage to any crossover techno sets. The USA trance star Mike Saint-Jules Remix follows a much more upfront uplifting trance direction with intense atmosphere. Great atmospheric breakdown that very soon becomes demanding and sinister on the main hands in the air part. The excellent  talents from Ireland, Tucandeo service the deep progressive version that is absolutely stunning with dark hypnotic basslines and fantastic use of the effective maddening riff that will cause hysteria in the sets of djs such as Markus Schulz. The Russian talent Telur well known for his electro trance sound and twisted dirty beats recreates the original in his own bombastic style and the result is an unstoppable monster that will do real damage on the modern trance sets. The always on great shape Orla Feeney transforms the original into a large uplifting tech trancer with long melodic breakdown and that manic riff coming up to damage your ears on the main part. Last but least the tech trance master Indecent Noise adopts his UK trance style with exquisite breakdown were he adds a spoken male vocal sample from a movie and then he reveals his massive acid sound layers that will lead us on the banging and unstoppable main part. This is one of the best remix packages released so far. Forbidden City is Back! Love It!
