REVIEW: John O'Callaghan & Heatbeat - Las Lilas out on Subculture/Armada Music

1.Las Lilas (Original Mix)

Sharing a passion for the higher BPM rate, collaborating on a tune was the next logical step for John O’Callaghan and Heatbeat. On ‘Las Lilas’, the two powerhouses finally combine the best of their sounds.

John O’Callaghan, the number one DJ and producer of Ireland. Heatbeat, one of Argentina’s most popular duo in dance music. Each of them have earned their trophies, established a significant sound and built a successful career in today’s EDM scene.

And now, there’s ’Las Lilas’. A warm, but hard-hitting piece of tech-trance, connecting strong bits of melody with killer waves of pounding bass. A labour of love.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Subculture's owner returns for a superb new track that you can even call a killer tune of the week.  This time he combines his forces with Heatbeat that their latest track Rocker Monster dominates the Beatport trance chart for many weeks now. Las Lilas is a 9 minutes rough drive with tribal latin influenced rhythm, chunky tech trance beats, wonderful percussion and brilliant piano melody in the breakdown along with opera like vocals. John is well known for his artistry and craft to deliver bouncy rough tech trancers on the uplifting side  and Heatbeat know better how to combine in their hybrid tracks wide variety of influences. Las Lilas is the brainchild of  the 3 creative minds and the result is an unstoppable tornado size track that will bring the results you were asking for. Dark, pounding, mysterious, twisted, euphoric but with bitter taste are some of the words that can describe this track in some extent.  Its destined to be at the top of many trance charts in the coming weeks cause simply is underground from start to finish and sounds like being made at the backstage of a rave party that music is what it counts. Just close your eyes and let the beat control your body. Pure and simple. Love It!
