REVIEW: Jess-E - I Need Your Love out on Wildlife

Jess-E (The Netherlands, born August 2nd, 1977) initially started off as a U.K. Breaks DJ. Slowly but surely improving his mixing, Jessy worked hard to perfect his skills and played at venues like Doornroosje and 013. He eventually focused on 4/4 completely.

Over the years many genres came, went and even minimal sounds had Jessy’s interest, just like the warm, classic house releases from labels like Strictly Rhythm. All these influences are still found in his productions, brought to the world under his moniker “Jess-E”. His demos caught the attention of Black Hole Recordings and ever since Jess-E releases his output on sub label Wildlife, delivering titles like "20 Degrees and a Gentle Breeze", "Free Your Body" and "Flatliners".

Now with his new single "I Need Your Love", Jess-E once again ignites the dance floor with a smooth, sun drenched club banger that gives a head start to the upcoming summer season. Those familiar with the funky sounds of Hed Kandi and Defected will know immediately that we're dealing with a killer hit single!

This top track can be summed up with the words: Pure audio pleasure. If you love deep house with tribal influences sounds then I Need Your Love is tailor made for your sets. Cool and groovy beats, jazzy basslines and that old school flavoured house diva style vocal that sings loud and proud: I Need Your Love, take my hand. Superb fluffy house style that will work perfectly as a warm up track in a house set or as main floor filler in a solid deep meaningful Hed Kandi style sets. It is produced in Netherlands but with USA sounds. As it seems we must start packing our luggage and get on the first flight for WMC in Miami. Take a walk on the Wildlife baby....Like It!
