After creating quite a stir with his debut on Mondo Records in 2011, Chris Cockerill returns alongside production partner Nick Housmans and delivers 'The Real Deal'. From its dark outset the pair twist electro morphed vocals with tech-fused basslines and big room riffs, creating a monster of a journey that will send any crowd crazy with its infectious melodies.

On the flip we have not one but two top of the line mixes. First up is Long Distance, taking things down a little he loosens things up with a slightly laid back, yet uplifting approach. He still keeps those cool grooves, electro vox and hands in the air riffs from the original but definitely stamps his mark on it. Wrapping things up we have James Barron who provides a tight and interesting progressive mix, even on the deeper tip he skilfully holds on to that feel good vibe of the track.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Mondo records is about to rock your world so take some protective measures if you dont like manic beats and maddening melodies that drive you wild. The brand new release is called The Real Deal by Chris Cockerill & Husman and it comes in a great package of 3 well produced versions. The original mix is a massive big room bouncer that combines electro and trance in the finest way. Its a party track produced with total crowd satisfaction in the mind of producers. Robotic vocal samples, rough electroish basslines, pumpy progressive trance beats and huge synthy stabs in the climax combined to left you wanting more when it finishes. The remixes are very different and varied with James Barron going to the more deep progressive trance route with a version that is smooth with a delicate breakdown with silky piano melody that is combined with huge synthy stabs.  You get the perfect excuse to raise those hands in the sky and enjoy the ride without thinking what others say.  Lastly Long Distance is the most bouncy, powerful and fast version for the uplifting trance sets. Of course the progressive, electro and tech influences are quite evident on this version as well. If you love melodic themes that stay in humans minds for long, choose this weapon and get ready for your next dj Battle. Love IT!
