REVIEW: Accadia - Into The Dawn incl. Neptune Project remix on Lost Language

Two classic Accadia tracks from the Lost Language vault are next to get the Lost Language treatment, with Neptune Projects heavily requested remix of Blind Visions heading up the package. Amir Abassi takes us deep into melodic techno territory, with a remix of Into the Dawn to rival James Holdens, while newcomers Charm & Strange provide us with an immense rework of said track, replaying all the parts on guitar and piano with a backbone of analogue synths underpinning the whole thing. Truly epic stuff.

 

                               
Dimitri Kechagias review: The all time classic label of Lost Language returns with a wonderful new release that updates in the most appropriate and successful way the classic Accadia tracks Into The Dawn and Blind Visions. That early Michael Woods projects was one of the finest in the early era of British Trance explosion and its time for the new generation of producers to take it in their hands and transform it according to what the modern dancefloor demands. First of all is the superb Into The Dawn on the very cool version by Mike Mikhjian. Melodic house meets trance version in a very soothing travelling and inspiring way. The strong hypnotic melodies work like a treat upon  the bubbly progressive beats. The breakdown is magnificent with the big synthy lead and  the heavenly style female voices. Amir Abbasi on the other side is going for a 9.00 minutes long deeper darker version with acid overtones and nice melodic layers on top. If you like deep dark spacey proggy trance this version will add that moodiness in your set for sure. Charm & Strange version is a fantastic laidback chill out appropriation that is very surprising and unexpected but definitely the most innovative that will be highly regarded in the coming years. Last but not least the real deal in this package is Neptune's Project explosive remix of the fantastic anthem Into The Dawn. If you love epic uplifting trance with a long cinematic atmospheric breakdown that will give you goosebumps each time to listen to it  then this version should be your favourite and I can see it reaching Beatport Top 10 for sure. I played it many times in my shows and always has a big emotional impact on me particularly when those female vocals appear. That's what I call Uplifting Trance, Don't miss it! Love it!
