EVENT: Welcome To The Future 2012 - Check the LINE-UP

On Saturday the 28th of July, from twelve until midnight, WTTF presents the sixth edition of the Welcome to the Future-festival, taking stage at the beautiful recreational area ‘t Twiske near Amsterdam. As always in the height of the summer, only this time one week earlier than previous years, the last weekend of July. Simultaneous with the presentation of the line-up the pre-sale will also kick off today.

Everything is in place to make WTTF 2012 an unforgettable experience:a great line up with 45 artists and more international acts than ever before, powerful sound in all six areas, the now legendary and stunning decoration of the stages and last but not least: an intimate vibe amongst the dedicated crowd, that really knows how to party. All of this packed together in one of the most serene and beautiful locations our country has to offer. What more do you want?

Welcome to the future has a name to uphold when it comes to presenting an adventurous line up with the newest acts in house and techno. Therefore WTTF 2012 is proud to present an incredible sound pallet ranging from ART DEPARTMENT, SOLOMUN (last year propelled to world fame), SETH TROXLER, DAVID AUGUST and Crosstown Rebels front man DAMIAN LAZARUS till all time favourites such as JOSH WINK, STEVE BUG, DENNIS FERRER, crowd favourite KAROTTE, ANJA SCHNEIDER, techno grand masters SURGEON and JAMES RUSKIN and last but not least two of Detroit’s true techno legends, CARL CRAIG and DERRICK MAY!

The most important musical development of last year, the newest house, pitched down to a slightly slower tempo yet therefore extra sensual and groovy, is represented at both the Future and the Garden stages. The Garden is going to be bigger than before and will receive an amazing new design. Next to that, of course the heavier tech-house and techno will also set stage extensively at WTTF 2012, especially on the Main, in the Techno and the Circus – two areas where the roof is guaranteed to come off.

Although there are more international artists on the program than ever before, the Dutch DJs are still represented thoroughly. No less than fourteen artists from the Netherlands will make their WTTF-Festival debut. No wonder, as there’s a lot going on in the vibrant Amsterdam scene, which already resulted in international success for many artists from the New Amsterdam School. Two of the key players, DANIEL SANCHEZ and 2000 AND ONE, this year have the honour to provide the closing set at the main stage. This promises to become a true clash of the Titans, just like the preceding back-to-back set by STEVE BUG and JOSH WINK, for the first time together behind the decks on a Dutch stage. Actually, the moments you really shouldn’t miss are too many to be named, so hereby we present the complete line up for WTTF 2012. Welcome to the Future…
