Next up on Unearthed Records is Finnish producer Kai Harmaala, also known for his work in Far From Near and K-DE. His new track on Unearthed Records is entitled Blue Heaven and is a beautiful melodic, uplifting trance track with an addictive main hook, backed by crisp production.
The first remix on the package comes courtesy of Lisko who has gone for a more clubby approach with the track, with a bouncier bassline and euphoric breakdown.
Completing the release is a remix by Phase One who has opted for a small intro section before dropping into some banging beats, crunchy sidechained bassline and more subtle use of the melodies.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Unearthed records is back with another strong package of uplifting trance ready made for the big dancefloors. The talented Kai Harmaala delivers the beautiful Blue Heaven that can be easily categorised as peak time for your next trance set. Kai respects the rules and conventions of uplifting trance and he give us what we want straight to the point without surprises and excessive elements. His original mix is well rounded with tough energetic beats and superb breakdown that is long but perfectly teasing with huge drum rolls that lead us with full of grace and confidence on the strong climax for the well deserved pay off moment. Lisko version uses a lighter kick drum, driving basslines and he additionally introduces heavenly style female voices that support the easy going and floating texture of this great remix. The breakdown is cinematic and very atmospheric with that excellent riff ready to explode out of proportion on the bass rocking main part. With Balearic undertones this version recalls summer holidays and late night clubbing in Ibiza. Phase One version can be easily used as an intro track in your set as it starts with a very impressive magical intro part and then it goes full on for those hands in the air moments. It includes an additional lovely piano part in the breakdown that adds a romantic touch as well. The main part is perfect to let yourself and start jumping with joy! Fantastic package for sure and is highly recommended.
