Unreleased Digital proudly presents Dinka's newest work 'Purple'; the first EP after Dinka's successful artist album 'Tales Of The Sun'.
Swiss based Tamara Hunkeler aka Dinka strikes back with three amazing and forward thinking, but still good feeling Progressive House tracks in one package.
The title track 'Purple' follows Dinka's musical strategy: Happy melodies, carried by club proofed beat elements and atmospheric pad beds. 'Here I Am' is a cover version of Tim Buckley's classic 'Song To The Siren' that Dinka draws into a more dance and house music corner. An uplifting melody completes this interpretation and gives it a fresh breeze of modern house music. Third song on the EP is 'Lotus (New Guinea)'. A classic Dinka song that offers everything she's loved and known for. Dinka's journey to 'New Guinea' leads the listener through all cultural and traditional music elements of New Guinea and Tasmania, but still sounding clubby.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Once again the dj and producer known as Dinka provides for our enjoyment a high class EP that will become favourite to any dj and fan of melodic progressive house and trance as well. 3 great tracks packed in one explosive EP that you can not afford to miss without delays. Firstly comes the title track Purple that is a beautiful delightful blissful uplifting melodic prog house anthem that can make you even start seeing the gloomy moody world through Purple Eyes. Purple as a colour has a certain signification and its deeper meaning of hope and positivity radiates the whole EP. Second is the awesome Here I Am. If you look for a vocal melodic prog house track to offer to your listeners the chance to sing a long as well and feel the energetic vibes taking over their souls Here I Am is the one track that will unite them in just seconds under the quality and very inspiring melodic theme and strong vocal as well. Equally immediate and effective is the Lotus track in its New Giunea mix. Playful mixture of progressive house with tech house elements and of course ethnic exotic vocal samples and melodies to help our mind escape for a while. There is a nice radio mix for Purple as well for heavy radio support. Overall its another stand out moment for Dinka that always leave us wondering what is going to come out next from her studio. I'm ready to be surprised and wearing my Purple glasses. Love it!
