REVIEW: Deathmind - Freakshow incl. Estigma remix out on Fraction

1-Original Mix
2-Estigma Remix

Argentinian trance producer Diego Presas, formerly of Thr3shold notoriety, launches his solo Fraction career under his new Deathmind alias with the mighty 'Freakshow' - a no nonsense slice of floor rocking madness for the later hours!

Full throttle basslines and tech percussive rhythms are key to the energy of the Original Mix, while the stabbed chords and agressive top line synths ensure maximum crowd satisfaction. On the breakdown, atmospherics are set to overdrive with melody before dropping into the gritty groove again - monsterous!
Estigma is on hand to deliver the perfect remix to the already franticly paced Original. Acidic distorted synths play against the driving backdrop to really set the tone. Energy levels are once again kept to full pressure on the breakdown with an array of drum sections to lift the atmosphere sky high!

            Deathmind - Freakshow by Fractionrecords

Dimitri Kechagias review: Fraction continues to impress us all with another top notch tech trancer ready to dominate the big rooms in the coming weeks. Deathmind aka Diego Presas service the threatening and very frightening for the weak hearted Freakshow. He uses tough kick drums, energetic basslines and some distorted vocal samples to add that freaky atmosphere. The breakdown is full of surprises including a very strong breaks part that is supported by a very huge epic synthy melody along with a spoken male vocal sample. Sudden stop with a glitzy effect that will make many djs worry that something went wrong with the CD player and then the track continue on the same tech trance pattern without getting over the top. On the other hand Estigma has the mission to take the original into the uplifting trance territory with tougher kick drums, superb melodic synthy layers and a bit of acid flavor as well. The perfectly cooked version is completed with a wicked long breakdown that huge drops and large melodic layers will work perfectly together to bring the ultimate euphoric state to the listener. Of course Estigma creates his own breaks style part before opening the doors and allowing the manic uplifting main part to enter and create havoc on any dancefloors. Full on Fraction power! Like It!
