REVIEW: Bobina - Diamond Hell out now on Magik Muzik/Black Hole

1-Original mix

Bobina a.k.a. Dmitry Almazov began his career in 2003 and is the man behind legendary performances at The Miami Winter Music Conference (2006), Trance Energy (2007) and Gatecrasher Summer Sound System (2008). He was one of only a few deck-practitioners to be handpicked by Tiësto to support him on his ‘In Concert’ tour. He was also the first Russian DJ to appear in the DJ Mag Top 100 chart.

Bobina has subsequently remixed artists such as Oakenfold, Armin van Buuren, The Thrillseekers Supermode (Axwell & Steve Angello) and worked for world famous labels such as Ministry of Sound, Perfecto, Armada, Nebula and of course Black Hole Recordings; for which he recorded the 17th volume of the famous In Trance We Trust mix compilation series.

"Diamond Hell" is a powerful and typical Bobina trance production, sporting an almost symphonic arrangement with a touch of big room in it. The strong emotional undertone of "Diamond Hell" even makes it perfect for the intimacy of your own home.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Bobina is the ultimate Russian superstar of Trance and he proves with each of his releases that he is one of the main players of trance in a global scale of course. The most historic and very influential record label Magik Muzik delivers his brand new tune and according to the comments that his fans write at the official Black Hole recordings You Tube channel you can understand that he provides a stunning power trancer ready made for the big rooms. Diamond Hell has that current big room sound that all djs are heading too at the moment. Big powerful stomping beats, cool percussion on top, influences from the epic Swedish House style, some electro undertones too and of course dramatic melodic main theme that will send you out of space and out of this place for sure. The breakdown includes a distorted female sample that in my opinion adds a lot to create that very special spacey atmosphere and very soon the main big room banging part lands for the ultimate climax. It is so complex, very classy, driving, anthemic and without hesitation in some years will become one of those gold classics of the Magik Muzik precious back catalogue. Its already supported by great artists like Armin van Buuren in his ASOT radio show and support will grow day by day. Lets bet for Beatport Top 10 for beginners. Love It!
