Dimitri Kechagias review: Caballero recordings from Germany strikes back with an awesome new release ready to win the hearts of any big room epic prog house lovers. Martin Volt service firstly Onyx that is a driving peak time little monster that is about to blow big time at the dancefloor near you. Stompy banging beats that lead us on the first breakdown that a very summery romantic melody is revealed. Along with it big piano riff is coming at you along with claps demanding the audience to follow the dj and clap their hands in the air too. When the beat comes back all the great elements work together to get you totally out of your head. The second breakdown is a bit longer perfect to calm everyone before the party starts again. Melon as a title brings to mind something sweet so I'm expecting this tune to be very sweety and sweaty for the big floors and Im not dissapointed of course. It starts quite minimal but very soon the tough rocking beats come together for the needed intro before to land on the first breakdown. Huge balearic style melody, great epic strings that work perfectly upon the latin influenced groove on the first part. Its difficult to resist the urge to go in the middle of the dancefloor and start dancing. Second longer breakdown will bring summer nights with melon juice all over the place. Superb EP that can stand equally beside all the established artists of the same style. Love IT!
