REVIEW: Flashtech - Convergence out on Neuroscience recordings

1-Orignal Mix
2-Vitodito Remix
3-EcueD Remix
4-Lael Bellotti Remix

After remixing for us back in 2011, 2012 sees Hungarian producer Flashtech making his full debut release on Neuroscience Recordings. The talented youngster's recent productions have caught the attention on DJs such as Paul Oakenfold, Rank 1, Myon & Shane 54 and Ruben De Ronde. Flashtech has a bright future ahead of him, and we're very please to officialy welcome him to Neuroscience. With 'Convergence', Flashtech serves up a tasty slice of progressive trance. He's created the perfect combination, with trancey synths and melodies against a solid progressive-edged foundation. The track has some nice cross-over appeal, and should work for both trance DJs and progressive DJs alike. We have some fantastic remixes backing up the original Mix of 'Convergence'. First up is our good friend, the talented Vitodito. Vito's remix is aimed right at the clubs, with his tech-trance influenced gig-room sound! EcueD gives 'Convergence' a slick progressive re-work, making excellent use of the original melodic elements. Finally, we have Lael Bellotti. Lael has created a great progressive trance version, with a dark, driving and somehow melancholic feel... And a superb breakbeat breakdown! Tasty stuff!

Dimitri Kechagias review: When it comes to quality melodic progressive trance with housey elements the label that you should check out always first is Neuroscience. This top label from UK manage to establish itself as one of the finest progressive trance labels with quality releases from great artists like FlashtechConvergence is the latest offering from Flashtech and it comes in a delicious package of 4 different versions. First of all is the superb original that can be described as a floating feel good melodic beauty that is characterised from the brilliant piano melody in the relaxing breakdown before some additional synthy melodies come in the forefront to create a magical atmosphere. When the beat is coming you can feel that your audience will be totally taken by the great  theme and will trip out. Vitodito seems to follow a much more progressive house route and for this very exciting release he composes a superb tech influenced prog house version that djs like Jaytech adore of course. EcueD Remix on his side follows a much more balearic trance approach and he applies the piano melody in full effect to create a sweet romantic atmosphere. Lastly but not least Lael Bellotti provides the tougher approach to the original with rougher rockier bassline with electro and tech trance influences perfect for that peak time moment in your prog trance set. Quality only on Neuroscience, Love it!
