“Color The Trees” is the third single to be lifted from Firefox AK’s album of the same title. “Color The Trees” which was also produced by Lasse Mårten (Lykke Li, Peter Björn & John) also features vocals from long time collaborator Tiger Lou!
Color The Trees is a superb dose of Scandi-pop, delivering an addictive vocal, with a tone reminiscent of the likes of Oh Land and Icona Pop. First featured as RotD back in February with the fantastic and catchy Boom Boom Boom, the Swedish pop maestro's album boasts productions from Andreas Mattsson (Popsicle, Hello Saferide), Lasse Mårtén (Johnossi), and Björn Yttling (Lykke Li, Peter, Bjorn & John). Those kind of references give a great indication of the kind of quality to expect on Andrea Kellerman's Firefox AK project, with the album due for release February 6. The Berlin-based Swedish singer has just completed a European tour with Hurts and played Music Week's 'Breakout' as well.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Quality electronica sounds by Firefox AK. Color The Trees is a beautiful retro electronica style track with a message and addictive tendencies. Great delicate sensitive vocals shine upon the melancholic melodies and the groovy playful retro hypnotic rhythms. Its like a calming reassuring lullaby that takes you on board for a mysterious and surprising journey that you are not sure if it takes you somewhere at the end but after a while you dont care about the destination cause what was worth it was the journey. The beautiful original radio version is supported by top notch remixes ready made for the eclectic dancefloors. Daniel Wilde service us a superb tech house version with bubbly retro style grooves, distorted use of the vocals, and warm melodies on top. It has many creative ideas and certainly stands out with its tendency to experiment and offer something so fresh. Araki remix is a darker, deeper, very cinematic version with breaks, electro and dubstep influences. Last but not least Spieltrieb delivers a dub house version perfect for those nights when you come back home after clubbing and you want just to chill out for a while.
