Berin based imprint Symbiostic is presenting this special Balkan, Gipsy Datscha styled House EP called Rabota Takaja (A Damn Killer) with remixes by Lennart Vonau, Teenage Mutants, Nick Haze and Wolfgang Lohr himself. The Original Song, produced by Wolfgang Lohr, belongs to the Soundtrack of the critically acclaimed Short Movie "A Damn Killer"
As an accomplished trumpet player and vocalist Wolfgang Lohr has toured extensively with bands throughout Germany for the last fifteen years. More recently he devoted himself to producing and mixing for other bands and musicians. Apart from his own music on labels such as Satelitt Digital (Berlin), PR Underground (Sweden) and Symbiostic (Berlin), he has done remixes for artists such as Madness, Round Table Knights, Invisible Brothers, Roby Howler and Teenage Mutants.
Another Remix comes from Teenage Mutants who have released exciting stuff on Top Billin, Coco Machete, Disco Belle and more. Pascal Klank and Kristian Samujlo from Mainz / Hamburg are part of the new German wave of producers. Their debut release 'Africa...Boombasa!' climbed directly into the Top 40 Beatport chart and garnered support from US, UK, French and Russian blogs. Their tracks have received support from Don Rimini, Fuckkk Offf, Cyberpunkers, Tonka, Theaston Shuffle, Mustard Pimp, Sono and Shir Khan; just to name a few.
Further reworks plus the video clip edit (watch here) are provided by Lennart Vonau from Lübeck, well known as a former part from DJ's @ Work, who stormed the Top Ten of Media Control Charts in 2001 with 'Someday',followed by attaining a VIVA/ZDF Cometen for the Best National Dance Act in 2002. Lennart produced Remixes for Rosenstolz, Patrick Bunton and more.
The release gets completed by Nickolay Tsvetkov alias Nick Haze, a Producer, Remixer & DJ from Asenovgrad, Bulgaria., a young, promising artist who takes no compromises when combining his musical skills with his cultural heritage.
