Dimitri Kechagias review: Two trusted names in the Swiss trance scene combine their powers for a big room uplifting monster ready to get the support of some of the biggest names in trance within the coming weeks. Armageddon is huge release as the title suggests and is served in two great flavors. First of all the superb Wavetraxx remix that includes techy influences, playful beats, attention to its and every small detail in sound design and superb anthemic epic hands in the air trance theme that will make clubbers go wild and if they are quite old like me to recall trance from its golden era. Awesome production that should get big support soon. Meriton Celiku on the other hand follows the progressive trance style with deeper playful basslines and nice spacey melodies on top. He uses a quite distorted riff that is hooky enough to get us going until to land on the breakdown. For his breakdown uses chorus like vocals, classical music theme, and big room synthy hook line. Suddenly there is a silence and the big synthy rave like melody is revealed to raise those hands in the air and a little bit later the groovy beat is back along with the all the melodic layers on top for the big climax of the track. Two very different and unique versions that will satisfy different trance substyles for sure. Love IT!
