REVIEW: Dave Horne - Lifted out on Nu-Depth recordings

1-Zachary Zamarripa & Che Armstrong Remix
2-Original Mix
3-Steve Brian Remix

Label regular Dave Horne returns on nu-depth with another beauty in the form of 'Lifted'. Since his last release 'Pushing Air', Dave's work has graced some of the biggest labels in the scene including Discover, Solaris, Alter Ego and many more.

'Lifted' is slightly more driving than Dave's recent efforts but still contains those trademark plucks and melodic stabs he is known for.

Warm and uplifting sounds to gets the dancefloors moving in the right direction early on. One of Euphonic's regular players and a firm favourite with the trance elite, we welcome aboard Steve Brian to add his stamp on the track. Progressive trance with a host of melodic sounds, excellently crafted together for those who don't like it too hard.

Neuroscience head honcho Che Armstrong hooks up with Zachary Zamarripa to add a more tech influenced style to proceedings, while still keeping the progressive elements of the original intact. Twisted and chunky house music indeed!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Nu-depth recordings is one of those small indepedents that releases some great records usually on the uplifting trance tip. Now things are moving more proglifting with the brand new anthem by Dave Horne. Lifted promises with its title to lift us on the dancefloor and reach the highest highs. Wonderful bubbly energetic beats, warm melodies, angelic vocal samples combined alltogether to create the perfect soundscape to feel  free, very relaxed and slowly to get movin along its great rhythm. The breakdown uncovers a smooth feelgood melody that slowly builds up until to get you high and right up there. Steve Brian from his side provides a much more house influenced version from his usual electro trance style but still on that summery Ibiza feel good balearic style. Its light, sweet and dreamy so right and exact for the first progressive hour of a fully rounded set. Steve always impress and this track is  not an exception of course.  Lastly the quality prog house producers Zachary Zamarripa & Che Armstrong combine their powers to deliver a deep prog house version but with trancy influences of course. If you love smooth like blue velvet and silk too prog house this version is perfect for you. Of course in the breakdown an energetic twisted synthy riff appeas to beef up the proceedings. Quality all the way from Nu-depth camp. Love it!
