Don’t put Marcel Woods in the same room as a box. Chances are the box won’t make it out alive!

"It’s nothing personal" explains Marcel, "I just can’t stand being put into them. People try to define my sound, style and influences down to just one or two genres, but if you’ve heard me then you’ll know that’s impossible. I don’t like pigeon-holes either to be honest. I just don’t fit into them, never have and never will.”

Dimitri: Do you consider 2011 as a positive, negative or neutral year for the progress of the Electronic Dance Music scene?

Marcel Woods : A very positive, as the whole EDM scene is getting more & more professional

Dimitri: Do you believe that 2011 was a good , indifferent or bad year for the development of your personal career?

Marcel Woods : It was def a good year, my music is reaching a lot of people, so that's a good thing. And i travelled from the USA to Australia and everything in between.
