A historical piece of dance music, given a new voice and spin by German masterminds Dabruck & Klein and Dutch songwriter John Ewbank. ‘Letting You Go (Greece 2000)’ is a classic retouched fit to rule speakers once more.

Some musical pieces follow us in history, growing and moving along with time. One of them is ‘Greece 2000’. There’s something everlasting about this Three Drives On A Vinyl classic, first released in 1997. It’s been remixed hundreds of times and no matter how often you hear it, it never gets old.

For the ‘Hands On Armada Vol.2’ album, German producer duo Dabruck & Klein took on the challenge of remixing this ultimate classic  to great success. They’ve given it more volume, more power and higher dance floor potential. ‘Letting You Go (Greece 2000)’ holds on to the future, without losing the past. Strong female vocals and contagious, warm layers of melodic house will make you ride this new musical wave, unable to stop moving!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Its difficult to explain how and what I feel about this monument of EDM. Greece 2000 is one of those tracks that never gets old and will always  be open for future translations from younger producers. The balearic melody resembling a Greek instrument will always bring shivers in my body from the very first notes. Now the brand new version is ready with additional female vocals that really add a total different approach to the original. Quality house diva like voice adds power and drive to take this classic back in the dancefloors. First of all the superb Dabruck and Klein who never stop to rock my world with their tough and stompy beats recreate the classic in the best possible way. Uplifting to the core this is epic house at its very best for big rooms and stadiums. There is of course an instrumental version as well for you to enjoy if you want to just feel the vibes of the original. The additional remixes adopt the instrumental mode too. Markus Schulz delivers another super special banging with his deep basslines, warm melodies and dancefloor crashing climax. Roger Shah who lately adopts a more housey approach goes for a hands in the air big room style version with demanding prog house beats, dirty twisted basslines and that unforgetable riff on top. The classic is back and lets hope will crossover big time in the mainstream pop charts as well. The vocal is very super to sing  a long.  Would love to see a brand new music video of the new version too.
