Helvetic Nerds member Stanley Ross strikes back with a huge two track EP on Enormous Deep, called 'Australia'.
The continuing rise of DJ and producer Stanley Ross is a big story in modern techno genre right now. Having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2007, Ross now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer.
First track on the EP is 'Australia' which is a warm and deep track as well as being innovative and also club friendly. 'Aborigine' offers a more techno influenced vibe mixed up with sorted tech house and tribal elements, what makes this track unique and a musts have for every club DJ.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Enormous Tunes is back with another must have release. The talented Stanley Ross goes deep in his studio and take us for a journey in the land of opportunity and prosperity that is at the moment Australia. His brilliant EP includes two high quality tech house meets progressive house style tracks that will excite your senses for sure and sound from a distance as the perfect choice for any eclectic club sets full of power, dynamism, groove and depth. First of all is the awesome Australia. Playful groovy tech house beats, wam percussion, cinematic melodies on top, strange spooky sampled sounds and ethnic vocals maybe from Aborines from Australia. Relentless build up of wonderful warm sounds that build tension. It will take the listener for a journey in Australia for sure. Aborigine is the tougher cut from the two. You get a massive heartthrobbing pulsating groove, streched and squeezed ethnic samples, playful melodies along with deep but really dominating bassline. Awesome stuff that is Highly Recommended! Techno with Soul!
