Dimitri Kechagias review: Afterglow saga continues with the next episode coming from the hands of the Italian maestro of quality deep melodic progressive music Gai Barone. He is a real mastermind of deep cinematic spacey tracks and his latest Amydgala is exactly what you expected so long to take from him. Original version is more than 10 minutes masterpiece that speaks directly to your brain and without cheap gimmicks and effects tells its story in the most pleasurable but highly ambivalent and mysterious way. Tribal beats that take us back in the trance genre essential roots in the deepest jungles, swirling sounds, warm melodies and various cool strange sounds that lead us on a really epic size breakdown. It is like driving within a tunnel and you are not sure what you are going to see or meet. You look around quite insecure to understand where you are exactly. Rays of lights and swirling riffs and deep basslines slowly building the tension until to get out towards the light. Super special release of the finest order of course. The package includes two additional shorter remixes cater for different sets. Gai's Duramadre remix leans towards the techno side of the EDM spectrum.
