REVIEW: Luca Lombardi Feat. Johanna - Come Closer out on Alter Ego records

1-Original Mix
2-Vocal Mix
3-Spark7 Remix
4-Carl Nunes Remix
5-Vito De Santis Loves 90's Remix

Alter Ego Records is back from a months absence and is now raring to go under new management! Presenting release 44 on the main imprint, we have a delightful progressive vocal track from two people who are no strangers to the label. Luca Lombardi featuring the gorgeous vocals of Johanna serve up their collaboration 'Come Closer'!

On remix duties we have Alter Ego man Spark7 Aka Peter Lesko, Vito De Santis & the very talented Carl Nunes who all serve up a feast of colorful and warm mixes!
The Original mix is purely instrumental and brings an abundance of warmth into play with a host of deep and soulful plucks, poignant pads, picturesque breakdown and some real groovy percussion. One to bring back the summer memories!

The vocal Mix features the ever sweet vocals of Johanna, who makes a return to the label after some time! Again with an abundance of warm sounds, deep and soulful plucks, poignant pads, picturesque breakdown and groovy percussion and all alongside the very catchy vocal tones of Johanna. Not to be missed!

Spark7 fills in at poll position with his powerful more upbeat version, taking the melodic elements and vocal into different territory. A well shaped mix with all the needed dynamic twists and turns along with some fantastic synth work and a crunching bassline to boot!

Carl Nunes makes his debut on Alter Ego Records with his dreamy rendition of Come Closer. A beautiful pallet of sounds that weave in and out of the mix and leave you pondering the next step in the sequence. Completely unpredictable and charismatic. Don't miss this one!!

Vito De Santis Loves 90's Remix is exactly what it says on the tin, shimmering synths and disco like beats from the rising Italian. Will work well in those early sets.

Luca Lombardi feat. Johanna - Come Closer (Vocal Mix) [Alter Ego] by Luca Lombardi

Dimitri Kechagias review: Luca Lombardi is one of those artists that I hope he will carry on releasing superb music for many years. His brand new release on the ace label Alter Ego is a vocal hymn that you can dance in the club and come closer to your loved one. The original is a smooth quite laidback progressive trance meets house anthem with warm feel good melodies that bring summer season in your mind instantly. The vocal mix is even better as the sweety Johanna on vocal duties adds her innocence warm and tender voice and romantic lyrics to make you fell in love with her. Just close your eyes and enjoy the superb journey into the colorful sounds that Luca composes in such wonderful way. Spark 7 remix is my favorite in this extensive package. Proglifting at its best with electro and house influences as well and of course those gorgeous vocals on top. Quality breakdown with piano riffs, superb synths and strings, break beat  and  the finest way to take it to the next level in the main part of the track that is the best moment to dance the night away and go closer to the speakers and feel and each and every single layer of airy sound. Carl Nunes is more minimal prog trance with rockish edge but certainly echoing summer nights at the beach swimming and kissing your loved one. Last but not least Vito De Santis transforms the track into a playful feel good progressive trance beauty with additional sax samples and riffs that add extra class to the whole production to relax at home and drink your glass of red wine from Italy of course.
