This double sided single fresh off the block is titled 'Frayed Of The Light / Dark Matar'.
On the light side we have 'Frayed' that features the vocal talents of Amber Jolene, a beautiful delicate voice backed around a bed of detail and intricate production. Things taking a darker twist, a Wehbba remix accompanies the original perfectly, turning the drive up just one notch.
On the flip side we have, 'Dark Matar', written by XP2 solely and finds the boys in their element with a dark slab of driving house showing off the opposite of 'Frayed Of The Light',

Dimitri Kechagias review: X-Press 2 are hitting all the right spots and continue their global dancefloor domination with a stunning EP including a really sweet vocal house production with plenty of funk, groove and most important full of sexy and erotic undertones to create that atmosphere for love and romance on the sweaty foggy smoky dancefloor. Amber Jolene sounds so jazzy and funky like coming out from the swing clubs of the past. There is a great dub mix for those who dont like vocals. Wehbba remix is more tech house minded, dubby but equally a** shaking and booty jumpin that means you can not resist it and you will be drawn in the middle of the dancefloor for sure. The outstanding EP continues with the lovely Dark Matar. A bubbly tribal groovy hands clapping affair that flows so nicely with the addition of cool spooky noises and random like samples along with choped vocal samples make this an instant hit for the more proggy influenced dancefloors. Housecore at its finest!
