REVIEW:Rocking J - Route 66 out on Pilot6/Armada music

1.Route 66 (Original Mix)
2.Route 66 (Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Chriss Ortega Remix)
3.Route 66 (Duderstadt Progressive Remix)

German producer Jens Gillach, residing under his Rocking J moniker, makes his solo debut on the Pilot 6 label! He follows sweet ‘Route 66’ to that magical highlight moment on the dance floor.

Rocking J is no rookie to the game, given his previous releases ‘Spectrum’, ‘Sequence’ and Chriss Ortaga collabs ‘Hymn’ and ‘Wanaka’. But this time, he brings the scintillating tones of ‘Route 66’ to light.

There’s a spark in this progressive-house jewel, that slowly builds, rises and unfolds from a diamond in the rough to a peak-timer that can bring a crowd to its boiling point. If you’re into warm sounds, this Rocking J release will brighten your day.

The Duderstadt brothers gave ‘Route 66’ an energetic push, erasing the borders of prog, house and trance, while Chriss Ortega and Alex M.O.R.P.H. joined forces for a remix that pushes the tempo and aims for nothing but prog-trance mayhem.

Dimitri Kechagias review: One of the finest progressive labels of Armada Music, Pilot 6  returns with a stunning new release that will take on board fans of melodic progressive house and feel good progressive trance. Rocking J who is superb producer delivers a big room melodic progressive beauty with warm pianos, trancy riffs that recall summer holidays and really tight production that direct us all  straight to the dancefloor. The breakdown is pure hands in the air euphoria that will bring that wide smile in all clubbers faces. Two heavyweights of the club scene unite once again their forces Alex M.O.R.P.H. & Chriss Ortega to combine each their own backgrounds and create that new genre that moves away from genre restrictions. They add more bounce and energy and they highlight in their own unique superb way the piano melody in the breakdown to create straight away the optimistic happy mood that all dancefloors are asking for. Particularly progressive trance djs will fell in love with this mesmerizing mix straight away. Duderstadt brothers are simply irresistable and whenever I see their name I must check them out. Their version works really well as it starts really minimal but then the proggy playful beat is back. I can imagine the house mafias all over the world to give their thump up for this. Balearic warm feel good beauty for the big epic prog house sets. 3 excellent versions in one package is not a bad deal for sure. Highly recommended!
