REVIEW: Edu & Cramp - Human Turbines out on Anjunabeats

Edu & Cramp - Human Turbines (Original Mix)
Edu & Cramp - Human Turbines (Beat Service Remix)
Edu & Cramp - Human Turbines (Ruben de Ronde Remix)

"Human Turbines" is the second Anjuna collaboration between Lithuanian producer Edu and Russia’s Cramp and follows in the footsteps of the breathlessly uplifting "Silver Sand" which touched down on the label earlier this year.

Crunchy, groovy and with more than a subtle hint of techiness about it, the Original Mix possesses a stunning, poignant and truly emotive string-led drop which lands out of nowhere before the synths build the track back up to a wonderfully melodic chorus.
Estonia’s Beat Service is on call for the first remix, a deep and sophisticated rework that generously ladles its luscious swathes of synth over the somewhat bristlier sounds and hazy vocal effects of the original before awakening from its slumber to power out the anthemic, soaring melody lines.

The second remix sees Dutchman Ruben de Ronde behind the desk, blending the twinkling, pitter-patter melodies with a ghostly serene breakdown and some truly buzzy melodies.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The essential and most influential label of trance continues its success path with the brand new collaboration between the Russian progressive trance starts Edu & Cramp with their beautiful Human Turbines. Original mix is big room driving progressive trance cut that includes in its breakdown an ultra large classical music theme that will elevate your senses. When the beat comes back the track continues really melodic and feel good with that strong theme on top and some vocal samples that in a way reminds us Chicane tracks. The remix package is the finest you can get with Beat Service once again prove his worth and main position in the scene with a full on driving remix with electro trance basslines, superb use of the main classical theme plus the addition of his own haunting style melodies that add to the track a superficial atmosphere. In contrast with the original in the main part he utilizes the classical music theme in big room style with synthy stabs and the strings on top creating a heavenly enviroment to inhabit and dance along. The always on top shape Ruben De Ronde continues on the same progressive trance route with playful electro trance beats and of course the big classical music theme for hands in the air moments in the breakdown. In comparison to the other two version the clever Dutchman adds more techiness in his mix but he keeps the melodic edge of the original. Three outstanding versions for another Anjunabeats beauty!
