REVIEW: David Forbes-Dalton 91 / Touchscreen out on AVA/Armada Music

1.Dalton 91 (Original Mix)
2.Touchscreen (Original Mix)
3.Dalton 91 (Radio Edit)
4.Touchscreen (Radio Edit)

As long as there’s a spark of creativity, the fire of music will always light David Forbes’ studio. The Scottish producer has been at it for 20 years, relentlessly creating new beats to dance to. Shortly after his ‘Yasai’ trancer, he returns to the AVA label with duo ‘Dalton 91’ and ‘Touchscreen’.

‘Dalton 91’ is refreshing, sparkling and melodic, setting forth an energetic, prog-trance sound that rouses through the speakers. ‘Touchscreen’ hits in deeper, with tony bits of detail, razor-sharp synths and a slight touch of drama. If you’re into techy edged trancers, this one will get you going!

Dimitri Kechagias review: You can expect only highquality releases from Andy's Moor label AVA. The brand new comes straight from the Scotish highlands and the hands of the always on the spot dj David Forbes who has that great talent to produce proglifting trancers that include tech and electro touches too. On Dalton 91 the breakdown is as exceptional you expected to be. Uplifting synths with warm piano riffs and ambient atmosphers and then returns to its prog tech trance style. Touchscreen continues on the same tempo and rythm with the addition of some rays of melody and choped female vocals that are  melted together to create the ultimate atmosphere. Definitely this version will be best for those who love melodic emotional adventures and will bridge wonderfully the prog tech with the prog trance selections in your mix. The breakdown is uprising as it can be and the main part is banging and pleasurable as you wish a cool track to be. Underground trance beats that byte you if you are not careful enough so be warned.
