Indigo Children - Everybody Needs (Single) ***MUZAI ALBUM 2O11*** by Indigo.Children
2.Everybody Needs [Muzai Version]
Indigo Children AKA Santiago Niño, Alex Hentze, and Chiri Silva is a musical project based in Guatemala City. The debut release on the new Plasma Torus record label (A&Red by Santiago Nino). Their music is a eclectic mix of EDM, leftfield, cinematic and ambient soundscapes.
This first single “Everybody Needs” represents a first foray into their music and a trip to the more energetic and commercial end of their musical spectrum. Driving beats, motorik drums, shining guitars and uplifting chords are the order of the day.
The trio have just recently finished their debut album titled "Muzai", which was recorded in Guatemala City; it only took about seven months, a semi-pro studio, a couple of guitars and some other random instruments. The album tells us a story that reminds us of a different time and place that never happened, that it clearly has strokes of un selfishness and honesty, with the only purpose to make good quality music. Stay tuned for the release of Muzai later in 2011.
Dimitri Kechagias review: First of all I have to express my warmest wishes to Plasma Torus label and particularly to Santiago Nino that I really admire for his music productions to find an audience in the global sphere and manage to stay in the scene with many quality releases. The first release by Indigo Children is really promising as it is one of those feel good after summer tracks that capture all the elements that characterize summer season such as the salty sea, the sun shinning, the laid back attitude with naughty boys whistling on beautiful girls and the latin balearic guitars adding that optimistic view in life. Its not an easy task to categorize the kind of genre that this particular release should be pigeonholed but it can be called progressive balearic house for home listening but I can imagine it being played early morning hours at the end of the set in order to create an early morning "sieze the day" kind of positive vibe. Both versions are equally cinematic and really special that deserve your attention. Discover Plasma Torus sounds.
